PDGF, PRP, and PRF all work by delivering growth factors that help stimulate healing, collagen production, and tissue rejuvenation—but there are important differences.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) are created using your own blood. After a quick blood draw, platelets and growth factors are concentrated and then injected or applied during treatment to stimulate collagen and improve skin quality.

PDGF (Platelet-Derived Growth Factors) is a newer advancement that provides highly concentrated growth factors without requiring a blood draw. At Platinum Sculpt, PDGF is used to help improve under-eye concerns such as:

  • Dark circles
  • Fine lines
  • Crepey skin
  • Puffiness
  • Dehydration

One of the biggest advantages of PDGF is consistency. Because it is lab-formulated, the concentration of growth factors is predictable from treatment to treatment. It also offers significantly higher growth factor concentrations compared to traditional PRP, which may lead to more robust rejuvenation outcomes.
